At the start of 2017, she became his ‘Angreji Wali Madam’. By the end of 2018, he is likely to become her ‘Prahuna’. Do not go into the semantics of the above statement for it is to the delight of the followers of the Punjabi cinema that the duo has been signed once again and this time, it is for a movie.
For all those who haven’t guessed the names as yet, let me end the convolution by stating that Kulwinder Billa and Wamiqa Gabbi are being talked about in the above paragraph. You’ve heard that right. The thriving duo in Angreji Wali Madam is all set to reunite in Amrit Raj Chadha and Mohit Banwait’s Prahuna. The announcement of the film was done by both the actors on their respective social media handles.
The film is being produced under the banner of Dara Film Entertainment and Banwait Films. The shooting of the film was unfolded earlier this week. It is too early to get any insight about the movie at this stage, but, the leading pair sounds of an interesting choice.
Kulwinder Billa is all set to make his acting debut in Simerjit Singh’s ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’. Prahuna is likely to be his first movie as a lead actor. Having gained several accolades for her role as Saawan Kaur in ‘Nikka Zaildar 2′, Wamiqa Gabbi would be looking forward to deliver another performance of the utmost quality.
