Talk of the vital tasks required to deliver a successful Punjabi song’s video, Parmish has been there, done that. The journey of returning back from Australia to directing music videos at the cost of dirt cheap to delivering some of the successful videos in the industry is an inspirational one.

His ability was not just restricted to being a director or a model. His debut movie, ‘Rocky Mental’, is all set to release on the big screen this Friday (tomorrow) and this is the reason why it is going a crucial day for him. Notwithstanding all his earlier successes, a debut movie as an actor is what he might cherish throughout his life.

His co-star, Tanau Kaur Gill, will also be seen for the first time in a Punjabi movie. Mahabir Bhullar, Dheeraj Kumar, Jagjeet Sandhu, Kanika Mann, Karanveer Bhullar, Jagjeet Singh and Darshan Aulakh will be seen in pivotal roles in the movie.

The movie is a directorial debut for Vikram Thori and is produced by Vijay Saini and Usha Kapoor under the banner of Dhamrait Films. Vikram has also written the story of the movie along with Sanjay Saini. Uday Pratap Singh has written the screenplay of the movie. Desi Crew has worked on the music of the movie. Suresh Beesaveni is the cinematographer and the movie is edited by Shiva Bayappa. Sharry Mann, Ninja, Dilpreet Dhillon, Goldy and Manjit Sahota have sung songs in the movie.

The movie is about the journey of a boxer, Rocky (Parmish Verma), and how he is incriminated for an offence. The trailer also shows how the society distances itself from the accused presuming him of being the guilty. If he is really found guilty, what made him commit the crime is what people will look to watch. So, whether Rocky will be able to prove his innocence or not is the question which will be answered tomorrow.

With the kind of passionate fan following that Parmish has, the movie is expected to receive a strong opening.
