Gippy Grewal continues unrestricted spree: The Desi Rockstar has announced yet another Punjabi movie under his home production.
Back in June 2018, Gippy Grewal had announced an astounding eight Punjabi movies to be released under his home production in Humble Motion Pictures. The grand extent of the announcement had it in it to also raise doubts about the same.
Proving all the doubters wrong, Grewal has stood tall with respect to working towards the already announced projects. The order of the projects might have changed but kudos to Grewal for ensuring the conversion of his words into actions.
While 'Mar Gaye Oye Loko' and 'Manje Bistre 2' had released last and this year respectively, Grewal has now announced the third movie from that list titled 'Maa'.
It is worth mentioning that Humble Motion Pictures had produced the blockbuster 'Ardaas Karaan' in July and had recently announced 'Posti'. In the first week of August, Grewal had also announced web-series titled 'Warning' under his banner. Both these movies and the web-series were not part of the original list.

Apart from announcing and then producing the aforementioned movies, Grewal has himself acted in Manje Bistre 2, 'Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh' and Ardaas Karaan this year. Grewal will further play the lead role opposite Zareen Khan in Baljit Singh Deo's 'Daaka'. The movie has been produced under the banners of Humble Motion Pictures and T-Series.
Having performed the role of actor, singer, writer, director and most importantly producer this year, Grewal is on an unrestricted spree in the Punjabi film industry. It is this line of work from Grewal which makes him second to none among contemporary names in Punjab.
Talking about Maa, the movie will release on Mother's Day next year, i.e., May 8. While Grewal hasn't provided many details about the project, him tagging Rana Ranbir and Baljit Singh Deo means that they will surely be involved in the project is some capacity or the other. Omjee Star Studios will be distributing the movies in both India and overseas.
