Man blackmails girls as White Hill’s Gunbir Sidhu: Mohali Police has successfully busted a hideous fraud case in the Punjabi film industry.
Delhi man Obed Afridi has been arrested by Mohali Police for blackmailing girls in the name of renowned producer Gunbir Singh Sidhu. Afridi had been continually blackmailing girls from Punjab, Delhi and Mumbai, messaging them and asking for their photos.
The hideous development came across Sidhu a week ago. Upon registering an FIR against Afridi, Mohali Police have kept him in their custody and will be brought for remand today. Punjabi Mania understands that Afridi had visited Chandigarh for the shoot of a song and it was then that he was taken under arrest.
It is reported that Afridi’s mobile phone has been seized. Upon further interrogation, the police have found several objectionable photos of the misguided girls from his mobile phone.

In White Hill Studios, Sidhu is the founder and owner of arguably the biggest production house in the Punjabi film industry. Sidhu informed Punjabi Mania that Afridi is a casting director and has been blackmailing girls under his name for months now.
“He [Obed Afridi] has messaged more than 35-40 girls under my name. He used to introduce himself as a casting director and then himself talk to them as me. I have mentioned both his numbers in the FIR.
“He used to inform those girls that White Hill is shooting single tracks with [Yo Yo] Honey Singh, Diljit [Dosanjh] and Ammy [Virk] in Paris and Amsterdam. He would directly ask girls to compromise in a bid to become part of these songs. 2-3 girls have randomly messaged me in the last week and informed me about the same. It was at then that I issued a complaint as I have never ever asked any girl to compromise or anything even close to this,” Sidhu was quoted as saying.
