Maninder Buttar songs: The Punjabi singer’s first music album released in the morning on the official YouTube channel of White Hill Music.
Having made his singing debut with ‘Yaari’ in 2014, eminent Punjabi singer Maninder Buttar has finally released his first music album. Titled ‘Jugni‘, the album was announced by Buttar almost seven weeks ago on his official Instagram handle.
While all the songs of the album haven’t been made public in one go, the first song in ‘Teri Meri Ladayi’ has released along with its video. Released in the morning on the official YouTube channel of White Hill Music, the video has already received in excess of three million views on the same platform.
Buttar, who has been in a different league altogether since his blockbuster single track titled ‘Sakhiyaan‘, has managed to continue his stellar form in Teri Meri Ladayi as well.
Written and composed by Buttar himself, the song has been musically directed by MixSingh. Although not a quintessential duet song, Teri Meri Ladayi also witnesses the melodious voice of Akasa.
Tania, who was last seen in Jagdeep Sidhu’s ‘Sufna‘ earlier this year, has featured in the song opposite Buttar. Teri Meri Ladayi is her second single track in the recent months after featuring in Gippy Grewal’s ‘Me & U‘.
The best part about the first song of Buttar’s album is its video which is directed by the ever-reliable Arvindr Khaira. It is worth mentioning that both Buttar and Tania’s sequence in the video have been shot in Chandigarh and Toronto respectively.
Considering the restrictions around COVID-19 pandemic, one understands why the song had to be shot in such a manner. With Rahul Chahal (TDOT Films) being thanked in the credits, one can’t rule out his assistance in the part shot in Canada.
Given the overall outcome, one has to credit the likes of Khaira, Chahal, Buttar and Tania for putting together a praiseworthy music video. The effort also speaks highly about White Hill’s constant urge to innovate irrespective of whether they release a movie or a music video.
