Manje Bistre 2 Preview: Punjabi Mania presents before you the full preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Manje Bistre 2’.

Coming on the back of a highest-grosser of its time in Manje Bistre (2017), there is no concealing the certitude that audiences have sky-high expectations from imminent Punjabi movie in ‘Manje Bistre 2’. Slated to release today in Canada and on the day after tomorrow (April 12) in India, the sequel is expected to once again enter the record books.

The trailer of the movie had released almost four weeks ago. At the time of writing this article, it has received over seven million views on the same platform, a mark which is rarely surpassed by the trailers of Punjabi movies.

Much like the first part, Manje Bistre 2 has also been directed by Baljit Singh Deo. The movie stars cynosure Gippy Grewal and Simi Chahal in lead roles. With the duo appearing on the silver screen for the first time, it has become the utmost novelty of the movie.

Apart from the lead duo, Manje Bistre 2 also stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma, Sardar Sohi, Hobby Dhaliwal, Rana Ranbir, Raghveer Boli, Malkeet Rauni, Jaggi Singh and many more actors.

Other than playing the lead role in Manje Bistre 2, Gippy Grewal has also written its script and screenplay and also produced it under his home production of Humble Motion Pictures. Adopting proactive measures before the scheduled release, Grewal had opened the advance booking of the movie on Sunday itself.

In Grewal’s words, the movie is a coalesce of culture and comedy. With it predominantly been shot in Canada, putting on display Punjabi culture in Canada has given rise to plentiful expectations in both Canada and back home. Given the names involved, the comic element in the movie is plain to see.

Despite the unbridled ballyhoo around the movie, it will face a challenge in the form of a restricted five-day week. With Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank’ releasing on April 17, Manje Bistre 2 might loss some shows if it doesn’t start on an exceptional note.

Having said that, a remarkable start is almost certainWhile Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Tashkent Files’ and Rakesh Ranjan Kumar’s ‘Paharganj – The Little Amsterdam of India’ are releasing on this Friday, them getting limited shows in smaller centres will work in Manje Bistre 2’s favour.
