The second installment of the Ardaas Series, Ardaas Karaan had released on 19 July under the banner of Gippy Grewal’s home production house- Humble Motion Pictures. The film that has been written, produced and directed by the multi talented artist Gippy Grewal is getting an overwhelming response from the audience. The fans are showering loads of appreciation and love on the film and on the team of stupendous actors including Gurpreet Ghuggi, Gippy Grewal, Malkit Rauni, Rana Jung Bahadur, Hobby Dhaliwal, Sapna Pabbi, Meher Vij, Japji Khaira and Kuljinder Singh Sidhu.

The film is based on the concepts of positive living, living life to the fullest and believing in the power of prayer. The film vividly shows the conflicts raised by generation gaps and gives an important message to the viewers in a beautiful yet strong manner. It conveys the message of respecting parents and living every moment of life with a positive outlook.

Considering the fact that the film conveys a beautiful and relevant social message and is a ‘must-watch’ for the youth of the country, the President and the Chief of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, has appealed to the Honble Minister Of Information and Broadcast of India, Mr. Prakash Javadekar, to exempt the movie from the entertainment tax. Manjinder Singh Sirsa has also requested and appealed to the Chief Minster of Delhi- Arvind Kejriwal for the same.

 

 

 

 

 

The idea behind this is to increase the reach of the film so that the heart warming message is spread as much as it can. The exemption of tax will help in increasing the number of viewers in a large manner. The Chief of DSGMC believes that the film is not a commercial movie and that the message conveyed by the movie is very relevant in today’s time and wants to increase the reach and the scope of the movie by appealing for the lifting of the entertainment tax from this film.
