The Punjabi industry has a kick-started in 2023 but Maurh for a reason is one of the most awaited films of the year. The impactful dialogues and their delivery has our heart. Apart from blood and sweat, you will also see a pinch of romance between Naiqra Kaur as Parssini and Ammy Virk as Jeona Maurh. As already seen in the trailer, Maurh is a promising film with a great story and screenplay.

Digging into the details, Ammy Virk who portrayed the role of Jeona Maurh served the poor and took revenge for his brother Kishna Maurh. Not only this, Ammy’s acting in the film has made him a versatile performer. After this film, the stature of Ammy Virk has been leveled up.   

Now, speaking of Dev Kharoud, he has already shown his skillfulness in many films and as Kishna he has shown his valor and furious side. Watching Ammy and Dev together on the big screen is already a massive experience, whereas, in Maurh, it has added the cherry on the top.

Apart from these artists, another who needs hats off is Marc Randhawa who displayed as Chatra in Maurh. He is the one who stands with both brothers from life to death. He has become a backbone of supporting artists. It has been great to watch a new actor putting his drudgery whole heartedly in the film. 

Additionally, Vikramjeet Singh and Amiek Virk portrayed the best antagonist in the film. Their articulation and dialogue delivery is blazingly remarkable.  

Further, the set design also deserves a special space in the review. The amalgamation of set and cinematography in Maurh has added crux to the biscuit. 

Now, coming to the music, we already have listened to the songs of Maurh. And in the film, you will be listening to Nigah by Amrinder Gill and Gaun by Jasmine Sandlas. The guest appearance of Jasmine in the film has prompted shooting in the theaters. Also, the track Faraar has played at the end of the film. 

The background score has created a different vibe from the initial to the last. The ambience sounds and shooting sounds glued us to our seats. And we can confidently say that it will hook you also till the end.
