Finally, after a long wait, the much anticipated Punjabi Film Maurh has been officially announced. The shoot of the film which features a huge star cast has started. Maurh stars none other than Ammy Virk and Dev Kharoud. Yes, you read that right. The two have already given numerous hits in the Punjabi Film Industry. And now they will be seen together for the first time on the big screen.

The concept and title of the movie ‘Maurh - Lehndi Rutt De Nayak’ is based on the film 'Jatt Jeona Morh'. Other than Ammy Virk and Dev Kharoud, the film also features Vikramjeet Virk, Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, Amiek Singh Virk and Manuel Randhawa in pivotal roles.

Though the female lead has not been unveiled but earlier it has been speculated that ace actress Sonam Bajwa will be featuring in the same and will be donning the role of Bhabhi Balbiro. But concrete can only be said when the makers will unwrap more details regarding the same.

Speaking of the direction, the film has been directed and written by Jatinder Mauhar. It has been produced by Karaj Gill and Jatin Sethi. The film is set to release under a collaborative banner of Naad Sstudios And Rhythm Boyz Entertainment.

Now, fans are really excited to see how they will recreate the legendary and cult classic film. Meanwhile, not many details have been out yet. We hope as the release date of the film approaches, more about it will be revealed by the team.
