Mera Laung Gawacha: The illustrious lyricist-turned-singer-turned-actor announced a new movie last evening.

Lyricist-turned-singer-turned-actor Tarsem Singh Jassar announced another upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Mera Laung Gawacha' last evening.

In what appears to be merely an announcement to book a release date, Jassar refrained himself from providing any details about the movie.

All that is evident from the poster is that writer-director Inderpal Singh has written the script of Mera Laung Gawacha.

Therefore, it isn't entirely safe to assume at this point in time whether Jassar is playing a character in the movie or just producing it under his label of Vehli Janta Films. 

Mera Laung Gawacha release date

In addition to Vehli Janta Films, Omjee Star Studios are also bankrolling Mera Laung Gawacha. Readers must note that the two production houses have worked successfully in the past and also have three unreleased movies starring Jassar namely 'Galwakdi', 'Rabb Da Radio 3' and 'Mastaney'.

Scheduled to release on September 16 this year, Mera Laung Gawacha isn't clashing with any other Punjabi movie for now.
