Mumbai: Mika Singh has once again turned heads with his latest luxury purchase. The singer has reportedly added a black Cadillac Escalade to his already impressive collection of high-end cars, with the SUV's India price estimated at around Rs 6-7 crore after import duties, taxes and other associated costs.
The imposing SUV was recently spotted with Mika, who appeared to be enjoying his new ride. The Cadillac Escalade is known for its commanding size, premium interiors and powerful performance, making it a popular choice among celebrities and automobile enthusiasts looking for something beyond the usual luxury SUVs.
Mika Singh Spotted With New Cadillac
Mika was recently seen arriving at a public venue in the massive black SUV. The singer, accompanied by security personnel, stopped briefly for the paparazzi and posed for photographs.
During the interaction, a photographer asked him to play his popular track 'Aaj Ki Party'. Mika joined in on the fun, played the song and acknowledged the paparazzi's wishes for his new purchase. In a light-hearted remark, he suggested that fans could expect to spot him in the new SUV regularly.
Social media footage also showed the singer unveiling the Escalade during its delivery. The visuals gave fans a glimpse of the vehicle as Mika removed its cover, apparently at his residence.
Why The Cadillac Escalade Costs So Much In India
The Cadillac Escalade is not officially retailed by Cadillac through a regular India sales network. As a result, luxury vehicles of this kind generally reach the country through private imports. The final amount can rise considerably once customs duties, taxes, shipping and other import-related expenses are factored in.
The Escalade is among the largest SUVs in its segment, stretching beyond 5.7 metres in length. Its imposing proportions are matched by a spacious, technology-rich cabin designed for a premium driving experience.
Certain high-performance Escalade variants are powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine, producing around 682 horsepower and 885 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system, giving the large SUV considerable performance despite its enormous size.
A Garage Packed With Luxury And Performance Cars
Mika Singh's latest purchase adds another extravagant machine to a garage that has already featured several high-end automobiles.
Over the years, the singer has been associated with vehicles such as the Hummer H2, including a customised black-and-gold version, and a Range Rover Autobiography Limo, reportedly worth several crores. His collection has also included luxury SUVs from Mercedes-Benz, a Toyota Land Cruiser, Porsche Panamera, Lamborghini Gallardo and Ford Mustang.
Adding an unexpected twist to the collection, Mika has also owned a Sonalika tractor, quite a departure from the exotic cars and premium SUVs otherwise associated with his garage.
With the Cadillac Escalade now joining the lineup, Mika has once again showcased his fondness for vehicles that combine size, luxury and performance.
