Punjabi Cinema is going through a phase in which content and substance is given the maximum weightage. These days the concept of conveying real stories and events by the means of cinema is growing rapidly. Real stories are transferred on celluloid, which not only provide a means of entertainment to the audience but also helps the audience garner knowledge and learn from other people’s experiences. Movies like Harjeeta and Dakuaan Da Munda, which were based on true stories, gained a lot of popularity and success. One more such Punjabi movie, which is based on true events is being produced. The title of the film is Zindagi Zindabad.

The story of the film has been written by the man behind the movie Dakuaan Da Munda, Mintu Gurusaria. Dakuaan Da Munda was Gurusaria’s own story and had recieved immense success at the box office and had gained a lot of appreciation. The story of Zindagi Zindabad has also been penned down by him only. The movie is being made under the banners of Kuknoos Films Pvt. Limited, Yadu Productions and Million Brothers Motion Pictures. Prem Singh Sidhu will direct the film and it will be bankrolled by Ritik Bansal, Ashok Yadav, Mandeep Singh Manna and Gaurav Mittal.

The movie has an illustrious cast which includes Ninja, Sukhdeep Sukh , Mandy Takhar, Yaad Grewal, Sardar Sohi, Rajiv Thakur, Amrit Ambi, Samuel John, Anita Meet and many more. According to sources, this movie will be the next part of Dakuaan Da Munda and this one is also based on events in Gurusaria’s life. It will be an inspiring story and will show that how Mintu came out of a dark phase of his life. It will also show the incidents in the lives of his few friends and how all of them came out victorious, against all odds and said Zindabad to their Zindagi.

The movie will provide entertainment along with giving a message to the viewers. This film is going to be a journey in itself for the audience as well. It will have a bag full of emotions and it will be an intense drama. The film will hit the screens on 2 August this year. The first look poster of the movie is out and the audience is excited to see the life journey of Mintu Gurusaria and how he says Zindabad to his Zindagi.
