Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da is one of the much talked about and anticipated Punjabi films of the year. Directed by the Jugni Yaaran Di director- Sagar S. Sharma, the film is nearing its release date. Sagar S. Sharma, who is known for directing films like Burraahh (2012) and Heer & Hero (2013), made his comeback in the Punjabi film industry after six years with Jugni Yaaran Di, and now he is all geared up for the release of his next film Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da.

The trailer of the film makes it evident that the film will be very different and will be based on the crime genre, something which is a rarity in the Punjabi film industry. Punjabi cinema is  going through a transition phase, as more and more films are being made of new genres other than romantic comedy and family drama. Filmmakers are experimenting with ideas, themes, concepts and genres.

The trailer of the film has managed to give jitters to the audience and truly explains and justifies the title of the movie. The film will have loads of thrill and action. The trailer suggests that the male actors in the film will lead  and steer the story of the movie and will play more significant parts in the film as compared to the female actors.

The movie will be dark and intense and the makers promise a strong plot with a good storyline. Along with a bag full of entertainment, the movie will also give an important message to the youth.

The starcast of the film includes Deep Joshi, Preet Baath, Veer Vashisht, Siddhi Ahuja, Kumar Ajay, Sagar S Sharma, Jatin sharma, Mohit Bhaskar, Keetika and Poonam Sood. Made under the banner of Shukul Showbiz, UV Motion Pictures & Sagar Sharma Productions, the film is being bankrolled by Munna Shukul, Jayesh Patel, Shikha Sharma and Sanjiv Saini. The film will hit the screens on 8 November 2019.
