Review:

As the name of the film says, Jatt is a Desi Munda played by Diljit Dosanjh and Juliet is an elegant modern girl played by Neeru Bajwa. Both believe in enjoying life on their own terms and conditions until one day they accidentally meet. They constantly feel irritated yet enjoy each other`s company secretly.
Anurag Singh who had earlier directed Yaar Anmulle is back again with yet another ‘Dhamakedaar’ comedy entertainer called ‘Jatt & Juliet’. The tagline of the film said ‘Khuttiyaan Pain Giyaan’ and staying true to its words, Khuttiyaan pai hi gaiyaan that too from the very first scene where Diljit enters. Punjabi Cinema is lucky to have directors like Anurag Singh, who has done a tremendous job as a director. He has surpassed his works of Yaar Anmulle. Dheeraj Rattan is another genius in the Punjabi Cinema. His Story is first grade and the screenplay keeps the viewer entertaining throughout the film. Manish More’s editing was first grade as always.
Diljit got the Best Actor award for JMDL last year and he has surpassed his acting from that time. His comic timing was just superb. Neeru Bajwa, well she is a household name in Punjab. She is just a fantastic actress that she can play any character with ease. Jaswinder Bhalla and Upasna Singh share good chemistry. Similarly, even Rana Ranbir and B.N. Sharma also excel as Chawla father-son duo. Newcomer Sari Mercer didn’t have much to portray but she was impressive throughout. So were the rest of the actors like Neeru’s friends, Sari’s mom, Diljit’s villagers lead by Karamjit Anmol. Music has been a vital part of any Punjabi film. Jatinder Shah, who is a fine talent, composed the music of this film. Songs like Fatto, Hi-Fi Juliet, Bacchha, Pooja Kive Aa by Sherry Maan and Judaai are run-away hits not only in Punjab but also in some other parts of the country. There’s a surprise waiting for all of you in the film, but i won’t reveal it here ????
Overall, this film has BLOCKBUSTER written all over it. Hats Off to Anurag Singh & Team for doing such an excellent job once again. Such films shouldn’t be missed at any cost and are recommended for all.
