Review (2/5):

Pinky Moge Wali is the story of a Bubbly Girl called Pinky (Neeru) who doesn’t get along with her father. She does various things to attract the attention of her father like get herself kidnapped or other things. Raj (Gavie) sees her and falls in love with her at first sight. When he comes to know about the kidnapping of Pinky he tries to save her and gets himself trapped in the joke which Pinky herself started. Geeta Zaildar and K S Makhan make their debuts with this film.

Pinky Moge Wali, a fictitious character which came into limelight last year with Jihne Mera Dil Lutiya is now turned into a big screen character. The concept of the film has been derived by the producer Kapil Batra himself. It’s a good move on his part to convert a famour character into a film. Director Vikram Dhillon who debuts with this film has penned the story of the film. Frankly speaking he has done a good job as a director but the story doesn’t impress much. The plot of the film seems to be heading nowhere from kidnapping. Even the screenplay is a disappointment. It has many unwanted sequences and songs which weren’t just fitting in the screenplay. Dialogues by Rana Ranbir were good in parts but average in other. The film would have been much better had the story been appropriate. The title doesn’t match the story as Pinky doesn’t even belong to Moga and still the title reads ‘PINKY MOGE WALI’.

Now lets discuss the acting. This is an out and out Neeru Bajwa film. She has done a good job here. She fits into the character well and her love with her FANTA Bottle is cute. Gavie Chahal, after a brilliant show in Ek Tha Tiger was just all right here. His fight sequences were bad and could have been better. Geeta Zaildar makes a promising debut and surely has a long way to go in his acting career. K S Makhan was a DISASTER as an actor. He just doesn’t have it in him to act. Any sensible man can say that he cant act, but I couldn’t understand that how did he bag the role. Anyways the comedy was perfect as always. This time the in charges for the comic part were BN Sharma, Rana Jung Bahadur and Harpal Singh. They were excellent as the comic trio. Shivender Mahal and Avtar Gill were just about average in their parts. Jividha Astha and Dhriti Saharan made their apperanaces in two item songs and there was even a third onw which featured Neeru Bajwa herself. Music here composed by 3 excellent composers wasn’t upto the mark.  Only Darmiyaan by Mohit Chauhan and Billo by Geeta Zaildar were upto the mark.

Overall, Pinky Moge Wali is a disappointment. The film could have been made well had it got a stronger story line and some fine music.
