‘Muklawa’ Successfully Enters Its Second Week

Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa’s much talked about film Muklawa has completed its first week at the box office. The movie, which had managed to create a lot of buzz, even before it’s release, has entered it’s second week successfully. The film, that released on 24 May, got a great opening and is still recieving an overwhelming response from the audience.

The movie is a period drama based in the 1980s and being a period drama, the film has got a charm of its own. The fact that the film is a combination of drama, love, emotions, comedy and family values, gives it an edge over the Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta starrer film Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh, which released on the same day as Muklawa.

Along with the great box office numbers, Muklawa is also recieving very good public reviews and is being appreciated by the film critics as well. The film is running in its second week and still the box office performance has not declined at all. Due to the good content, and amazing acting by the actors in the film, ‘word of mouth’ publicity is working very well for this movie.

Made under the banner of White hill Studios in association with Grey Slate Pictures, Muklawa has been produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Singh Sidhu. Directed by Simerjit Singh, the film is a complete family entertainer. The movie is an epitome of art, and it’s strongest point is the artistic element that it holds. The movie gives a sneak peek into the bygone days and has great foot tapping songs. Along with all this, the movie has a great plot. These are the reasons that the film is doing equally well in its second week as well.
