Muklawa Trailer Review

As the title suggests. the movie will revolve around the age-old ceremony of Muklawa. Apparently, husband-wife weren't allowed to even meet each other until the Muklawa had been sent back in the day. As strange as it sounds in 2019, a Muklawa was considered the real validation for a husband to see her wife and vice-versa.

It is evident from the trailer that protagonist Ammy Virk will be seen making desperate efforts to fulfill his desire of meeting his wife. That being said, it is this desire of his which appears likely to put him in trouble and form the focal point of the script. The same appears to be followed by consequences, harsh ones at that.

With his marriage with female lead Sonam Bajwa likely to be called-off, whether the duo will be able to meet again or not is what the movie will possible address. If so, how will it happen is another interesting prospect for the viewers.

Muklawa has been produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Studios and Grey Slate Pictures. Citing Sidhu brothers' success in the Punjabi movie industry, one expects Muklawa to stand tall on audiences' expectations.
