One of the most anticipated Punjabi films, Ranna Ch Dhanna, was set to be released in theaters in October 2024. Amarjit Singh Saron, the film's director, took to social media to explain why 'Ranna Ch Dhanna' will not be made and has been shelved. The reason behind the movie was revealed on his Instagram account. It reads, "We are not making ranna ch dhanna brother.... We tried ok u asked today ok so actually ranna ch dhanna was not a one film previous poster which we released in 2021 was with different story if u see zoom that poster in diljit bhaji goggles u will have that hint it was more of woman improvement films ... ohhh story was beautiful jinna ne sunni onna nu patta honesty i love that ... but unfortunately that goes waste with time ..few of my friend made similer films with same theme... koi na actual we took long time to make it ... that was a first ranna ch dhanna ... now 2nd with same title we tried to make another very beautiful film that resent poster 2023 u seeing now ... that also goes waste.. so ranna ch dhanniia is closed felt little bad becoz 7-8 month lag jande to complete script some time a years ...both script take lots of my time my energy.. anyway who cares”
