Its trailer has already mesmerized the audience and garnered positive response and now the film has also been moving to the same path. Directed by Sukh Sanghera, the music video director has widened his wings and showcased his talent and skills through the film Munda Southall Da. As the film saw daylight on August 4, 2023, we brought you an honest review without giving much spoilers.

Munda Southall Da Review

Starting the film review with the story and plot. Munda Southall Da movie shows Southall, England which totally looks like Punjab. One cannot believe that it’s actually not India. After that film introduces the characters of Iftikhar Thakur (Allu Allrounder), Armaan Bedil (Arjun) and his friends Goldboy (Teji) and Robin (Omar) who are mischievous and careless young boys. Not only that, but you will see Tanu Grewal (Raavi) in a hitherto unseen avatar at the start of the film. The couple met at a party, and their love blossomed through mischievous actions rather than simple romantic outings. Tanu is forced to relocate to India after falling in love with him. They never met again after that, and the lady had a child (Daler).

Daler, who is fatherless, learns about Arjun and goes on a quest for him. After then, the film reveals a significant twist, and to find out what it is, you must see Munda Southall Da in theatres. Sukh Sanghera’s film contains lighthearted comedy, romance, and drama, and you will not be bored for a single second.

Sukh Sanghera's superb direction makes the story look interesting. Munda Southall Da showcased the music video director's ability. Sukh Sanghera's USP has become putting the hardcore punch in any casual environment or imposing the song in between scenes. He has garnered more respect with the release of this picture. Giving all of the performers equal screen time made the film an ideal family film.

Let's talk about the actors' acting abilities after the story. Beginning Armaan Bedil, a debutante actor has won our hearts. He looks charming in the film and we hope to see him in more in the future. To be honest, the industry has gained another chocolate boy. His insane act abruptly transforms into an intense expression that makes us trust in his abilities. It was an excellent debut for Armaan in the acting profession.

Tanu, on the other hand, has already appeared in Yaar Mera Titliyaan Warga, where she played a pendu girl, but in Munda Southall Da, you will see Tanu as a tomboy who always remains cool and composed, but her heartbreak and life-changing-event have changed her as a person in the film.

When it comes to backing performers, Iftikhar Thakur is at his finest. The Pakistani actor knows how to entertain the audience, whether through dialogue delivery or expression.

After that, Goldboy, Robin and Preet Aujla’s support in the film is equal to prominent artists. The three have also taken the film to the highest level with their light comedy and dialogues. Their camaraderie towards Armaan and Tanu has given us a new definition of friendship. Now, special mention to the kid in the film, who shines in the second half and won the heart of the audience with his acting skills. We can say that the kid took the second half very nicely.

Ending the review by discussing music and background score. As earlier said that the songs were not forcefully added to the film. It seems like everything is properly fit and hooks the audience towards their seats.

Despite its predictability, Munda Southall Da is a light-hearted rom-com film which also shows seriousness and will entertain you for the most part, thus you won’t regret watching the film. So, without giving it a second thought you can make yourself stress-free by watching Munda Southall Da in nearby theatres.
