The Punjabi industry never shies away from experimenting with new concepts and taking risks by bringing something new to the Punjabi cinema. The much talked about upcoming film Kokka which deals with an unconventional theme is a real time example for the same.

Kokka, starring Neeru Bajwa and Gurnam Bhullar, is all set to break barriers by showcasing a  mainstream love story in which a young man falls in love with an older woman. In real life and especially in cinemas, it is much more common to see love stories where the man is much older than the woman, but very rarely the opposite is witnessed on the big screen.

Kokka will bring a breath of fresh air in the Punjabi cinema by showcasing the other side of society and breaking the old mindset about love stories. The highlight of the film is it’s story, theme and the new concept that it is bringing.

Kokka will be Gurnam Bhullar and Neeru Bajwa’s first film together. The posters, songs and the trailer of the film are out and features the new jodi. Both the polished stars reflect a charming chemistry in the trailer of the film. The trailer of the movie clearly gives the message that love has no age.

Kokka has been directed by Santosh Subhash Thite and Bhanu Thakur and has been written by Rupinder Inderjit. The trailer of the film is very refreshing and gives an insight into the film. The movie will hit the cinemas on 20 May 2022.
