The next turn into Punjabi Cinema is of a young and beautiful, 5’9” tall Isha Rikhi who is going to enter into the film industry very soon. Charming face is what she owns. Born in beautiful city Chandigarh Isha Rikhi was in Jalandhar for the shoot of her debut Punjabi flick ‘Mere Yaar Kaminey’.

She is a model by profession and has walked ramp for various renowned designers like Rohit Verma, Nitish Chandra etc. Besides, she has done various print and commercial shoots with biggies like Amitabh Bachchan etc.

She never thought to be an actor. But her Dad always motivated her to do modeling since childhood. Briefing about her background she says, “Well, I am doing modeling since three years out of which I have done various commercial shoots in Delhi and South. I never wanted to become an actress and I seriously didn’t hold any acting course. It’s just my director helped me a lot in improvising. My family especially Dad has been quite supportive and he always wanted to see me as a model. I gave a chance for acting and I am now very fascinated by this field.”

About the role in her debut Pollywood movie Isha reveals to Punjabi Mania, “I am playing the role of innocent and ‘sanskari’ wife. My on-screen husband Gaurav Kakkar always look out for girls outside home and I always wait for him for dinner etc. I would thank the director of movie Munish Sharma. Without his support and proper guidance, I wouldn’t have performed well. I just want the love of audience and I hope that they will appreciate my performance.”
