A new name has been added to the list of achievements with ‘Punjabi Nawaab Productions’. A group, a team, with music as its dream. To bring out the best singing talent from Punjab, the music label was launched on Saturday. The company took off with the release of singer Maninder Bath’s solo track ‘Kaim’ on this occasion. Present at the scene were the directors of the company Babbu Kocher and Deepak Kumar along with Maninder himself.
Punjabi Nawaab Productions is such a company which focuses on the best of music and the artists. An industrialist at core and a music enthusiast for years, Patiala lad Babbu Kocher has successful industrial ventures in Punjab in diversified fields. He said, “With the blessings of almighty I have tasted success everywhere. I will try to give my best to the deserving youth and will search out the real talent from the deep streets of Punjab. Just like we released Maninder’s track today, we would soon launch two new singers R. Deep and Deep Dangi from Patiala.” With these first steps in the entertainment industry, he seeks blessing and a place in the minds and hearts of people.
An engineer at the core, Deepak Kumar is an enthusiast in electronics and music and he looks to step into the entertainment venture, with innovation quotient, to add flavor to the entertainment themes. Based out of Chandigarh, Deepak Kumar is handling wide business areas in India and abroad, and always emphasizes on creativity, innovation and experimentation in his work. He told, “During childhood, I started singing in family functions and my school. While studying in KMV School, Ludhiana, my singing teacher, Late Sh. Manmohan Singh ji inspired me to take part in singing competitions at school level and went on to be an active stage singer in College too. I am 43 now and just thought to relive my dream into reality by establishing a music company to give chance to budding artists.
Released on this occasion, Maninder Bath’s this track ‘Kaim’ is based on friendship and ‘Break Up Party’. Maninder Bath is a talented artist who graduated in music from Patiala and then moved to Australia. He said, “My mentor Prof. Om Prakash ji supported me since the beginning of my career in singing. My first track ‘Tera Cheta’ was released in 2013. I want to be a renowned singer to fulfill my father’s dream which he could not do when he was alive.” Maninder Bath specializes in Punjabi folk and Boliyan. His earlier hits include ‘Maa di Chithi’, ‘Sada Dil’ and ‘College Track’.
