Even though film shootings and film releases have been put at halt due to the Covid crisis in the country, the Punjabi industry is trying it’s best to not cease the entertainment content for the audience and is looking forward to a bright time in the future and announcing new movies and projects. The free lockdown time is being effectively used by the artists to tap their creativity and fabricate quality content.

Recently one more new Punjabi movie has been announced. The upcoming untitled film will star the High End Yaariyaan star Ranjit Bawa. The new Punjabi singing and acting sensation- Sweetaj Brar will play the lead opposite Bawa in the film.

Sweetaj currently has a handful of films on her platter. This movie will be her third film after Moosa Jatt opposite Sidhu Moosewala and Fikar Karo-Na opposite Harry Sidhu. Sweetaj is yet to make her big screen debut, as all her films will release after the lockdown has been lifted and cinemas reopen. In this film, Ranjit Bawa, and late legendary singer Raj Brar’s daughter Sweetaj Brar will share the frame for the first time.

Written by Raju Verma, the movie will be directed by Jassi Ghotra from Binny Films. According to sources, the film will be produced by Teji Ricky and Satnam Singh. The team has not yet revealed any detail about the movie and no official post about the film has been made on social media.

It will be interesting to see this new jodi rock the silver screen. Ranjit Bawa has always made his mark with all his acting performances and it will be exciting to see his chemistry with the new and  budding diva of Punjabi industry- Sweetaj Brar. The makers will soon reveal more details about the film.
