Punjabi cinema has been widening its horizons by accommodating different types of films in the last few years. Amongst a plethora of big films in the Punjabi cinema, the industry witnesses many low key and small projects too. These film might not steal much limelight, but definitely leave a deep impact on the audience with their quality content. One such Punjabi film has been recently announced.

The title of the film is Takhatgarh. The name of the movie suggests that the film will be a serious drama based on the concept of power, politics and family. The first poster of the movie is out. Like the title of the film, the poster of the film is also extremely ardent and striking.

Punjabi writer Baljeet Noor is helming this project. He has written the movie and is also the director of the film. The movie is being made under the banners of Ssmurrf Films and Maya Records & Tapes in association with Red Hunkk Motion Pictures. The project is being bankrolled by Kuldeep Dhaliwal, Kulwinder Gill and Gurjit Dhaliwal.

The movie will star talented artists including Lakhwinder, Pali Sandhu, Raj Jodhan, Harman Dhillon, Asish Duggal, Sardar Sohi, Suvinder Vicky, Malkeet Malanga, Satwant Kaur, Rimple Dhindsa, Nitu Pandher, Mani Kular, Sanjeev Kaler and Jasbir Dhillon. The starcast of the film promises a strong plot with powerful performances. The shooting of the film has already gone on floors. The movie will hit the screens in 2021 itself. It is definite that the film will portray a spectrum of different colours and will win hearts with its content.
