This winter season is indeed a season of films. Every other day new films are being announced, making this year exciting and eventful for the audience. In the recent years, Punjabi industry has witnessed multifaceted growth. The industry has been giving opportunities to new talent and promoting fresh faces. 

Another new film has been recently announced. The movie will be led by a two fresh faces, along with a stellar supporting starcast. The title of this new upcoming film is ‘Youth Festival 2022’. 

Like the title suggests, the film will be a love drama based in the backdrop of Youth Festival. Youth Festival time is a very exciting time for every college student, and plays a big role in brewing many romances. Amrinder Gill’s 2018 super hit film ‘Ashke’ was also based on the backdrop of Youth Festival, and was loved by the fans. 

The first look poster of ‘Youth Festival 2022’ is out and features the lead jodi of the film. The male and female lead in the film will be played by debutant artists Surmeet Basra and Punya Mehta respectively. Basra and Mehta will play the characters of Vicky and Rabab in the movie. The supporting starcast of the movie is marked by polished actors including Nirmal Rishi, Mahabir Bhullar, Ashish Duggal, Lakha Lehri, Sanju Solanki, Surinder Bath, Daljinder Basran, Santosh Basra, Gurjit Singh and Rajwinder Kaur.

The movie is being produced under the banner of Basra Productions and is being directed by Daljinder Basran. Other than directing the project, Daljinder Basran has also written the film and will also be playing a character role in the movie. 

The release date of the movie is not out yet and will soon be disclosed by the team. The audience are all excited to witness the new jodi on the big screen and are hoping that the debutant artists shall add a pinch of freshness to the Punjabi cinema.
