New year and new films! The upcoming year of 2023 will bring a fresh season of films and entertainment with it. Many Punjabi films have been lined up for release in the coming year promising a year of great Punjabi cinema. Many films have been announced this year, which are slated to release in 2023.

Another new film has been added to the long list of movies that are set to rock the cinemas in the next year. The title of this new movie is Vekhi Ja Chhedi Na. The title is based on a famous Punjabi saying. The film will be an out and out comedy, and will definitely manage to tickle the audience’s funny bones.

The first look poster of Vekhi Ja Chhedi Na is out and is very peppy and vibrant, suggesting a light hearted romantic comedy. The first poster is animated and does not feature the starcast of the film. The movie is being produced under the banner of Winner Film Production.

The film is set to be directed by Manjit Singh Tony And Gurmeet Saajan. Gurmeet Saajan is a celebrated and polished actor of the Punjabi industry and has done pivotal roles in many projects. Vekhi Ja Chhedi Na is slated to hit the cinemas on Good Friday next year. The movie will release on 7 April 2023. Other details about the film and its starcast will be revealed soon by the team.
