Finally, one of the most loved on-screen jodi, Gurnam Bhullar and Sargun Mehta has again made it to the big screens. They have recently collaborated on the film Nigah Marda Ayi Ve which was released on 17 March 2023. Written and directed by Rupinder Inderjit, the film is based on a cute romantic love story which wins everyone’s heart in no time. Speaking of the film Nigah Marda Ayi Ve, the story takes place in London and highlights Harman (Gurnam Bhullar), who needs to marry a UK citizen to obtain permanent residency. Meesha begins dating him, but when she learns of his actual intentions, she chooses to wed Rajvant (Adi Chugh). And after that, he met with Scarlet (Sargun Mehta) and then the twist began.
In the film Nigah Marda Ayi Ve, one will not only witness the love story of Gurnam and Sargun but the film will give us a treat in many more ways. Scarlet who is in love with Rajvant has left no chance to chase him. Scarlet aims to follow him with Gurnam's support even though he got married. Together, they engage in this conduct, which helps in their mutual love blooming. Nigah Marda Ayi Ve is a movie about love that was influenced by Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare.
The dialogues in the film are simple yet hilarious. There are a few parts in the film where the dialogues are repetitive but it still entertains the audience like it was fresh. The screenplay of the film is a little slow but the background and location help us to stick to our seats.

Rog Mera Yaar and Koke Vich Dil in particular have tugged at our heartstrings. Moving on to the surroundings and cinematography, Sam Mallhi expertly utilised each location and masterfully displayed each picture on large screens.
Sargun Mehta's attire complements her persona and harmonizes flawlessly with the picturesque. Not only her outfit but her acting and expression have deserved a round of applause. She is a bubbly yet carefree girl from the outside but when someone knows her personally, Scarlet is actually a shattered and emotional girl.
Whereas Gurnam Bhullar is a sweet pendu boy who easily trusts anyone and does everything for them. But we cannot miss the three people, Nisha Bano who essays the role of Scarlet’s sister and displays the pure bond of sister, other is Harjinder Kaur who plays the uproarious role of Preeto. She is the angel in the film who has never bored us for even a single second. And last is Amrit Amby who illustrates the role of Gurnam’s cousin. Amby is the one who is listening to the whole scenario which has been actually presented to us. He is one of the supportive and amazing cousins who not only gives advice but also helps Gurnam in the film.
