Nikka Zaildar 2 has opened to a thunderous response at the Box Office on Day 1. The film started off well in the morning shows to huge occupancies on Day 1 and this was expected as the film had a brand value in terms of a Blockbuster Part 1 and star power in the form of Ammy Virk, Sonam Bajwa, Nirmal Rishi & Rana Ranbir and a hit track like Kali Jotta to it’s credit. The film collected Rs. 1,00,00,000 on East Punjabi Box Office on Day 1 and Rs. 20,00,000 in Rest of India territories taking it’s Day 1 total to Rs. 1,20,00,000 All India Net on Day 1.
Nikka Zaildar 2 maintained good collections all over Punjab but the maximum amount of collections came from the bigger cities like Chandigarh & Mohali where the film collected in upwards of Rs. 20,00,000 alone and Ludhiana where the film collected Rs. 15,00,000 followed by Amritsar, Jalandhar & Patiala. Also the smaller centres like Sangrur, Moga, Barnala, Kotkapura, Ferozpur held good occupancies. Overall, this is Ammy Virk’s 5th film to Open in upwards of Rs. 1 Crore Plus at All India level and this goes on to show how he has established himself as a very big star in the Punjabi Film Industry.
