Nikka Zaildar is considered as one of the top romantic comedy dramas in Punjabi cinema. The makers are all set to release the third installment of the Nikka Zaildar Series. The title of the movie will be Nikka Zaildar 3. Like the first two parts, the threequel will also be led by the super talented artist- Ammy Virk.

The first two parts of the Nikka Zaildar Series featured Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in the lead, but in the third installment, Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen playing the female lead opposite Ammy Virk. Other than the lead pair, celebrated actors including Sonia Kaur, Nirmal Rishi, Sardar Sohi, Gurmeet Sajan and Jagdeep Randhawa will be playing pivotal roles in the film.

The highlight of the film is that the role of Nikka Zaildar’s grandmother, played by Nirmal Rishi in the film, has been inspired from  a real life person, and that too none other than the great grandmother of the film’s writer- Jagdeep Sidhu. The writer himself shared the news by sharing the picture of his great grandmother- Dilip Kaur, on his social media handle. Like the first two parts, Nirmal Rishi will once again be seen in a bold and spunky avatar.

Directed by the ace director of the Punjabi industry- Simerjit Singh, the film is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film is being made under the banner of Viacom18 Studios and Patiala Motion Pictures and is being bankrolled by Amneet Sher Singh and Ramneet Sher Singh. The film will hit the screens on 20 September this year.  The movie will be an out and out comedy and the makers are all set to tickle the audience’s funny bones. The fans are also super excited for the film.
