Punjabi industry is witnessing a new trend these days- the trend of releasing sequels of the films which get critical acclaim and love from the audience at the box office. This year will be packed with a lineup of sequels including Rabb Da Radio 2, Nikka Zaildar 3, Manje Bistre 2, Ardaas 2 and Laavaan Phere 2. One more sequel of a superhit film has been recently announced for release in 2020. It is the sequel of the 2013 blockbuster comedy film Daddy Cool Munde Fool. 

 

 

 

 

The title of the sequel is Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2. The film will be made under the banner of Speed Records, Pitaara Talkies and Omjee Group. The announcement of the film has been made today on the official Instagram page of the Omjee Group. The makers have not revealed any details of the film, other than the title.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 2013 release had Amrinder Gill and Harish Verma in parallel lead roles. It would be interesting to see whether the starcast of the film remains the same like that of the first part or will it have a fresh lineup of actors. One thing that is definitely going to  remain constant is the concept of bickering, squabble and  ‘nok-jhok’ between the father-sons syndicate and the unlimited, unfailing and bottomless humour.
