Oye Makhna Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you the full preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Oye Makhna’.
Although a couple of movies starring two biggest names of the Punjabi film industry had released in October 2022, only three Punjabi movies releasing in a festive month can be easily termed as a lull on the back of missed opportunities.
As far as the number of movies are concerned, a lull will surely be broken as a total of six Punjabi movies are scheduled for theatrical releases in November as of now.
A star-studded affair starring Ammy Virk and Tania in lead roles, there wouldn't have been a better option than imminent Punjabi movie titled 'Oye Makhna' to break a period of inactivity. In what will be this pair's seventh on-screen collaboration (fourth this year including a couple of cameo appearances), it will release in cinema halls around the world on this Friday, i.e., November 4.
Having made her debut in Pankaj Batra's 'Fuffad Ji' (2021), actor Sidhika Sharma will also be playing a lead role in the movie. Guggu Gill, Sukhwinder Chahal, Hardeep Gill, Tarsem Paul, Deedar Gill, Satwant Kaur, Rose J. Kaur, Manju Mahal and Parminder Gill will also be seen in Oye Makhna in addition to the main trio.
With his last theatrical release being 'Nikka Zaildar 3' (2019), renowned director Simerjit Singh will be having a release after more than three years to end a personal stillness. Unlike his director, writer Rakesh Dhawan has been quite active in the last couple of years or so and release of Oye Makhna will further validate the same.
Oye Makhna Preview
No complexity or mystery around its genre, Oye Makhna will add to the list of easy-going and feel-good Punjabi romcoms. Led by Ammy and Tania's exciting love dynamic, the movie will be infused with incertitude to a large extent.
Therefore, fans looking to enjoy a light but highly effective romantic-comedy should be knowing where to head on this weekend. It will also be interesting to see what different Ammy and Tania will bring to the table regarding their chemistry after having worked with each other extensively in the recent years.
Oye Makhna has been produced by Vikram Mehra, Siddharth Anand Kumar, Simerjit Singh and Ammy Virk under the banners of Yoodlee Films. Yoodlee, a division of Saregama India Limited, will be venturing into the Punjabi film industry for the first time with Oye Makhna.
The movie is highly likely to emerge advantageous on the box-office due to limited competition especially from within the Punjabi industry. Having said that, Oye Makhna might receive some competition from a trio of Hindi movies (also releasing on November 4) namely 'Phone Bhoot', 'Double XL' and 'Milli'.
