Parmish Verma and Sonam Bajwa-starer Jinde Meriye: The dashing duo will appear together in what will be its second movie in 2019.

Putting an end to the murmurs which were doing the round in the industry, director Pankaj Batra's Parmish Verma-starer movie was announced last night. In what has come as a surprise for the Punjabi film industry, Sonam Bajwa will play the lead role opposite Verma in the movie.

Titled 'Jinde Meriye', the movie was announced on social media platform Instagram. The movie will be distributed worldwide by Omjee Group. Verma, Bajwa, Batra and Munish Sahni (Omjee Group) had gone LIVE from the actress' Instagram account to make the news public. Later, a short video of the announcement was uploaded by both the leading actors.

Diwali 2019 release

Given the fan-following of both the actors, the development is most likely to come as a relishing one. Extensive details about the project same haven't been disclosed as yet. However, it is worth mentioning that the makers have locked Diwali 2019 for the release of the movie. Jinde Meriye will hit the silver screens on October 25 this year. Given the importance of the date in the Indian film industry, expectations are bound to rise.

Before Jinde Meriye, Bajwa and Verma will also be seen in the Punjabi remake of super-hit Hindi movie 'Singham'. The movie will be the third movie each this year for both the actors. Other than Singham, Bajwa will be seen in 'Guddiyan Patole' and 'Muklawa'. On the other hand, Verma will be seen opposite Wamiqa Gabbi in 'Dil Diyan Gallan'.

Talking of director Batra, Jinde Meriye will be his second movie of 2019. 'High End Yaariyan', his first one this year, is current playing in your nearest cinema halls. The eminent director has earlier director successful movies in 'Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo', 'Bambukat', 'Sajjan Singh Rangroot' and others.
