The Punjabi entertainment industry is gearing up for a major celebration as the Punjabi Entertainment Festival and Awards Show (PEFA) 2026 prepares to welcome artists from the worlds of Punjabi cinema and music.
The event is scheduled for October 5 at CGC Landran, with preparations already underway for what is expected to be an evening featuring performances, celebrations and recognition of talent from across the industry.
PEFA has positioned itself as more than a conventional awards ceremony. The event is designed as a gathering for members of the Punjabi entertainment fraternity, providing artists an opportunity to interact, celebrate their work and enjoy performances together.
The 2026 edition is being presented by GB Realty, with GTC Punjabi as the Powered By partner and S.S. Chains & Jewellers as the Co-Powered By partner.
PEFA founder Sapan Manchanda said the ceremony will focus on recognising established names while also creating encouragement for artists who are beginning to make their mark in Punjabi entertainment. The organisers also aim to highlight individuals whose contributions helped shape and develop Punjabi cinema and music over the years.
One of the distinctive aspects of this year’s event is its entry system. Unlike many large entertainment programmes, PEFA 2026 will not offer paid tickets. Attendance will be through free passes, allowing invited audiences to be part of the celebration.
With established performers, emerging talent and industry veterans expected to come together, PEFA 2026 is set to turn CGC Landran into a gathering point for the Punjabi entertainment fraternity on October 5.
