Pitaara TV & Chaupal OTT public relations manager Ribha Sood has been appointed as a Young Professional in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The position that Sood now holds is under the central government and is a position of high authority and dignity.

Ribha, who holds qualifications in public administration, education, English literature, and mass communication, has worked as a reporter, editor, columnist, and a publicist during her five-year journey in the media industry till now.  With just five years of experience in the field of media, Ribha has achieved mountains. Ribha’s hardwork, consistency and diligence have played the role of steps in her career’s ladder.

Holding the white collar position of Young Professional in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ribha's role constitutes meeting the communication requirements of the Government of India and generating awareness among the masses through various media platforms. Ribha has all the qualities necessary for holding a job of such high responsibility. The prestigious post of Young Professional in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is given to young experts (between 18-32 years) to provide professional inputs in policy making.

Ribha Sood started her career as a correspondent with Hindustan Times, Chandigarh, in 2018. During her stint at HT, she worked as a district reporter from Moga. She worked as an editor who published city live newspapers and an interviewer who was a showrunner of multiple interview series. In 2021, during the post-pandemic period, she made a shift to the regional entertainment industry and was appointed as the public relations manager of Pitaara TV and Chaupal OTT, which gave her immense exposure and opportunity to learn.

Alongside being an ace in her field, Ribha has also been a columnist with a national publication, who has published many interviews with film artists. She has deep passion for writing, which she fulfills in in the most productive manner. It is commendable to achieve so much at such a young age, and her title of Young Professional fits Ribha like a glove.

Ribha's expertise lies in the areas of journalism, writing, interviewing and public relations and she will assume her new role at the ministry in the last week of July 2023. Alongside fulfilling her duty and responsibility towards the State, Ribha Sood aims to become a global personality, and a best selling writer in the coming future. With all her admirable qualities, it can be confidently said that Ribha Sood is all set to conquer the globe.
