Imagine yourself going back a few years and wanting to see your favourite Punjabi film as soon as its theatrical run comes to an end. That's an uneasy fantasy. This need to continuously watch movies on one platform has existed for the greatest period in Punjabi entertainment history. And some people came up with the idea to build a Punjabi OTT platform, Chaupal. It is one of the amazing OTT platforms where you will witness extraordinary Punjabi industry content. And recently one of the web series has made its way to the audience's hearts. Titled Plaster starring Prince Kanwaljit Singh in the lead role. As we have attached the series on Chaupal, let's help you with an honest review which will help your weekend to be filled with amazing content.
Plaster Review
Speaking of the storyline, the series Plaster is based on friends who fall into a drug racket, Bunty (Navdeep), Gora (Bharat), Mistri (Gurjit Lucky), Pradeep (Dharampreet Gill) and Honey (Mohanty Sharma). The tale revolves around their involvement in a fraudulent drug deal, which is centered around the mysterious "plaster" and the jigsaw puzzle they find themselves locked in. They love selling drugs and earning money to enjoy their life but one day the situation turns the tables. Yes, and they all get threats. But how they handle these threats and become drug dealers you have to watch all six episodes. Each of the six episodes, which run between twenty-five and thirty minutes, will entice you to watch them all at once.
Moving on to the directing, it has been handled by MG Mehul Gadani, a former choreographer who has done well for a debut. He developed a novel idea with writer and actor Prince Kanwaljit Singh. This is a narrative about a filthy, fraudulent drug sale that appeals to readers of all ages who enjoy this genre. However, if you watch intently, you'll see that while the screenplay is interesting, every series narrative has been left open for future seasons. The dialogues are excellent.
The performances of each performer add interest to the plot and narrative. Each of the six artists received a good amount of screen time in the series. Because no one is overly attractive, the screenplay is compelling and tight. The five pals all performed admirably in Plaster. In the most recent release series, Ashish Duggal, Sukhdeep Sukh, Diljot, Iqbal Charik, Deep Mandeep, Gurinder Makhna, Aman Cheema, Sukhwinder Chahal, Rangdev, Harpreet Bhoora, Lucky Mistry, Surinder Narula and Sanjeev Kaler play significant roles.
Further, the background score is from the genre of crime thriller so the BGM is one of the USPs of this show. It will hook to your seat and you will not even blink your eyes for once. Meanwhile, the intriguing plot and appropriate brownish tone of the series' visual effects, which complement the mobster motif prevalent in many Hollywood productions, make it clear that Plaster will be a successful OTT series.
Overall, you shouldn't miss "Plaster," another web series, which comes after Outlaw on Chaupal. Because it's so compelling, you'll want to watch the entire episode at once. We're sure "Plaster" will soon become a huge smash as well because the content it delivers is worth watching. Take a look at the trailer for more information.
