Actor and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta paid a spiritual visit to the iconic Golden Temple late Saturday evening, offering prayers and taking part in community service ahead of her franchise’s crucial IPL encounter.
Dressed modestly and accompanied by a small team, Preity was seen bowing at the sanctum and praying for peace, positivity, and success for her team. Her presence sparked excitement among devotees and visitors, many of whom gathered to greet her and capture memorable moments.
In a touching gesture, the actress joined volunteers inside the langar hall and personally served meals to devotees, reflecting the spirit of selfless service associated with the holy shrine.
Speaking briefly after the visit, Preity said she felt blessed to have answered what she described as “Waheguru’s call.” She revealed that she had come to seek blessings before Punjab Kings’ important fixture scheduled for May 11 and expressed confidence that the team would perform strongly.
