Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be among the personalities presenting awards at the 98th Academy Awards, the event’s organisers announced on Friday. The actor is set to appear on stage alongside several well-known names from the global film industry during the ceremony.
In a joint statement, executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan confirmed that Chopra Jonas will join presenters including Will Arnett, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal and Gwyneth Paltrow. The group will take part in announcing winners across various categories at the prestigious awards night.
The organisers had previously revealed another set of presenters who will also participate in the ceremony. Those already announced include Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldaña.
Officials said additional names will be unveiled in the coming weeks as preparations for the event continue.
