Chandigarh: Former cricketer-turned-actor Yograj Singh has received temporary protection from arrest from the Punjab and Haryana High Court in connection with a case registered over his alleged remarks against women in a web series.
The interim relief was granted on May 29, providing Singh protection from immediate coercive action while legal proceedings in the matter continue. The case stems from comments allegedly made by him during his appearance in the Amazon Prime series Lukkhhe, which subsequently led to a police complaint and criminal proceedings.
