Punjab Floods 2025: In a heartfelt gesture, the makers of Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye have stepped forward to adopt the responsibility of 100 families impacted by the devastating floods in Punjab. The team announced that they will cover children’s school expenses, including fees and books, for an entire year, along with providing ration supplies to households, regardless of the film’s box office performance.

Director Aditya Sood, in a Facebook post, emphasized that for his team, Punjab comes first. “Punjab 1st, everything else 2nd. Our team is taking responsibility for 100 families. For one year, we will take care of children’s school fees, their books, and food supplies for the families. We will not wait for the film’s earnings to do this work,” he wrote.

The decision comes alongside the postponement of the film’s scheduled release on September 5, as the team felt it was not appropriate to celebrate a launch amid widespread suffering in the state.

The announcement has been widely appreciated on social media, with many lauding the cast and crew for showing solidarity in a time of crisis.
