The 37-year-old, who had gone to Fortis Hospital, Amritsar, for a minor surgical procedure related to a bicep injury, was expected to be discharged the same day.
According to hospital sources, what was meant to be a routine operation took a tragic turn when Ghuman reportedly suffered a massive heart attack during the course of treatment. Despite immediate medical efforts, doctors were unable to revive him.
