Punjabi film and music industry actress Himanshi Khurana has reportedly received a death threat along with a ransom demand of Rs 10 crore, prompting swift action from the Mohali police. The actress lodged a formal complaint after allegedly receiving a threatening phone call earlier in the day.

Himanshi Khurana, a native of Kiratpur Sahib in Punjab, rose to prominence after winning the Miss Ludhiana title in 2011. Her popularity soared further following her appearance on the reality television show Bigg Boss 13.
