Punjabi film and music industry actress Himanshi Khurana has reportedly received a death threat along with a ransom demand of Rs 10 crore, prompting swift action from the Mohali police. The actress lodged a formal complaint after allegedly receiving a threatening phone call earlier in the day.
According to initial information, unidentified callers warned the actress of dire consequences if the demanded amount was not paid. The threat has been taken seriously by law enforcement agencies, who have begun examining call records and tracing the origin of the number used to contact her.

Himanshi Khurana, a native of Kiratpur Sahib in Punjab, rose to prominence after winning the Miss Ludhiana title in 2011. She went on to establish herself as a popular face in Punjabi music videos and films, gaining recognition for projects such as Sadda Haq and the hit song Soch. Her popularity soared further following her appearance on the reality television show Bigg Boss 13.
