Punjabi film 'Oye Bhole Oye' which was released in theatres on February 16, 2024, has been making a name in the headlines. After its release, the film got stuck in legal trouble. It has come to notice that people from the Christian community have objected to a scene in the film. On the complaint, Jalandhar Police has registered an FIR against the film's director Varinder Ramgarhia and actor Jagjeet Sandhu. Moreover, according to media reports, a scene has been shown in the film 'Oye Bhole Oye', in the scene there is an allegation that the prayers of the Christian religion are being used in a wrong way, due to which the people of the community have expressed their displeasure over this.
On the other hand, taking the matter seriously, the police have registered an FIR against the director and actor in Jalandhar. Digging more into the news, 'Oye Bhole Oye' directed by Varinder Ramgarhia was released recently on 16th February. Only after the release of the film, people of the Christian community start objecting to the scene in the film in which the prayer meeting of their religion has been shown in a wrong manner as per them. Further, it has also been reported that the makers have hurt his sentiments by showing the wrong scenes in the film.
However, taking action on this matter, a case has been registered against the director and actor of the film on Thursday, 22 February in Police Station Division No. 4. As of now, no more updates regarding the FIR have been out, and neither makers have said anything about the same.
