Diwali is one of the most celebrated festivals of India, and unlike most of the festivals, it is celebrated throughout the country. This year the Diwali celebrations have been subtle and minimal due to the Corona crisis that the world is facing. Nevertheless, the Punjabi industry celebrated this auspicious festival in it’s own different flair.

The Punjabi stars took it to their social media handles to wish their fans a happy and prosperous Diwali. They shared pictures from their Diwali celebrations on their Instagram handles. Most of the stars adorned ethnic outfits and all of them looked stunning in the pictures.

For a few stars, including Yuvraj Hans, Kapil Sharma and Milind Gaba, this Diwali was a close knit family reunion, whereas a few of them including Mahira Sharma and Paras Chhabra had the quintessential ornamented Diwali party. Most of the stars celebrated this low key Diwali at their homes with their families. The newly wed couple- Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet celebrated the festival during their honeymoon in Dubai.

Many artists including Gurnam Bhullar, Sara Gurpal, Baani Sandhu and Sunanda Sharma, shared their photographs while lighting candles and seeking Diwali blessings in the Gurudwaras. Many divas of the industry posed with diyas, lamps and ranglolis and shared the aesthetic pictures with their fans. This year, due to the Corona crisis, most of the stars resorted to a clean Diwali, and also encouraged their fans to take this good initiative.

This year, Diwali has been subtle, but beautiful like every year. The Punjabi industry also actively participated in the festival and spread light and positivity amongst fans and all their followers.
