Sonam Bajwa to begin shooting for 'Carry On Jatta 3': The popular actor will continue to play the lead role in Carry On Jatta franchise.

Actor Sonam Bajwa will continue to play the lead role in the 'Carry On Jatta' franchise with a much-awaited third part all in readiness of going on floors next month.

While the makers are yet to make an official announcement around the same, trusted sources of Punjabi Mania have confirmed the same.

Having replaced Mahie Gill in 'Carry On Jatta 2' (2018), Bajwa retaining herself for 'Carry On Jatta 3' isn't surprising primarily because of the quality of work that she's done in the Punjabi film industry since then.

It was around a month before the onset of COVID-19 pandemic that superstar Gippy Grewal had announced Carry On Jatta 3 will a release date of June 25, 2021, at the time.

With COVID-19 playing spoilsport, the shooting of the movie has been delayed by around a couple of years.

Having said that, the team is preparing to reunite as soon as next week. Sources close to the developments have further revealed that Carry On Jatta 3 will go on floors on September 3 or 4 with almost the same cast.

Interestingly, the third part of this blockbuster franchise will be shot in the UK following the first and second parts which were shot in and around Jalandar and Chandigarh respectively.
