The season of monsoon has been raining film announcements this year. The Punjabi film industry is having an exceptional box office year with many big releases and record breaking performances. Alongside film releases, this year has witnessed many film announcements as well. One more movie announcement has been made recently, and this new announcement has really excited the Punjabi audience.

A new Punjabi film has been announced for release in 2024. The title of the movie is ‘Sarh Na Rees Kar’. The announcement has been made by none other than the youth music sensation and the Palazzo fame singer Shivjot.

Punjabi singer Shivjot is all set to enter the alley of acting with upcoming film Chidiyan Da Chamba. He will make his acting debut  in the Punjabi industry by playing the lead role in Chidiyan Da Chamba. The teaser of Chidiyan Da Chamba is already out and the movie will release in August this year. Shivjot has now announced his second project ‘Sarh Na Rees Kar’.

Shivjot has done some noteworthy work in the Punjabi music industry and is known for his musical talent and his lively and energetic songs. Like many other Punjabi singers, Shivjot has also now taken the leap and is all set for entering into the world of acting and cinema. It will be interesting to witness his acting performances in both the upcoming projects.

Alongside Shivjot, Pakistani actress Zubab Rana will be playing the female lead in the movie. Zubab Rana is a renowned Pakistani model and actress, and will be making her debut in the Punjabi industry with ‘Sarh Na Rees Kar’. Other than the lead duo, the film will also star Nirmal Rishi, Wali Hamid Ali, Malkit Rauni, Rubi Anam, Azhar Butt, Balvir Boparai, Bob Khera and Cornel Maris in significant roles.

The announcement of the film has been made on social media by sharing a poster which doesn’t give much insight into the concept of the movie. But the poster and title clearly indicate that the film will be a comedy flick packed with entertainment and drama.

‘Sarh Na Rees Kar’ is being made under the banners of Gill Motion Pictures and Jaskarn Singh. Written by Chander Kamboj, the comedy flick is being directed by Mandeep Chaahal. The project is being bankrolled by Jaskarn Singh, Rajwinder Kaur, Sanjeev Kumar and Vikas Dhawan. ‘Sarh Na Rees Kar’ is slated to release in the theatres on 2 February 2024. This new announcement has really excited the fans, who are eager to witness this upcoming masterpiece in the cinemas.
