Chandigarh: Punjabi singer Singga has opened up about a difficult phase in his life, sharing an emotional video in which he spoke about betrayal, professional rivalry and what he described as deliberate attempts to pull him down.
The singer posted a 49-second video on Instagram showing him visibly emotional and angry. In the clip, Singga claimed that some people within the Punjabi music industry, allegedly unhappy with his success, had gone as far as paying others to troll him.
He also spoke about feeling betrayed by people he once considered friends, alleging that individuals close to him had been involved in conspiracies against him.
‘The Journey Is Hard’
Singga accompanied the video with the caption “The journey is hard”, offering little additional context but using the clip to speak openly about what he said he had experienced over the years.
According to the singer, some people continue to expect the return of the “old Singga” — the version of himself they knew earlier in his career.
However, he suggested that the difficulties he has faced have fundamentally changed him.
‘My Heart Has Turned to Stone’
Reflecting on his past, Singga said he had witnessed friendships fall apart and people turning against one another.
He alleged that professional insecurity had also played a role, with some people becoming concerned that his progress could put them behind.
Singga referred to the legal troubles and financial difficulties he faced in the past, questioning what had happened to the person he was at that time.
He said the experiences had hardened him, describing the change in himself as having “turned to stone.”
Singer Speaks About Industry Pressure
The singer's remarks point to the pressures that can accompany success in the entertainment industry, particularly when professional competition spills over into personal relationships.
His allegations about paid trolling and conspiracies have not been independently verified. Singga did not identify the individuals he accused in the video.
The emotional post has nevertheless drawn attention from his followers, with the singer's comments prompting discussion about betrayal, rivalry and the personal cost of maintaining a public career.
For Singga, the message appeared to be less about explaining a single incident and more about describing how years of setbacks and experiences have changed the person behind the public image.
