The Punjabi entertainment industry is coming together in support of the recently released film Jombieland, as top stars Sonam Bajwa, Ammy Virk, and Gippy Grewal lent their voices to promote the movie and congratulate the team for trying something refreshingly new.
The film, which stars Binnu Dhillon, Kanika Mann, G Khan, Dhanveer Singh, and Angria in key roles, blends horror, comedy, and drama in a way rarely explored in Punjabi cinema.
In a joint video message shared on social media, Sonam Bajwa and Ammy Virk appeared together, flashing smiles and urging audiences to head to the theatres to experience Jombieland. “It’s a must-watch,” the duo said, calling the film “a unique and entertaining ride.”
Meanwhile, Gippy Grewal released a separate video applauding the entire cast and crew, especially Binnu Dhillon, for delivering a bold and refreshing concept. “Punjabi cinema is evolving and Jombieland is a great example of that. Go to the theatres and show your love,” Gippy said in the clip.
The film has been appreciated for its experimental storytelling and genre mash-up, a rarity in regional cinema. With big names from the industry backing it, Jombieland is gaining momentum among audiences, especially the youth.
The film’s release has sparked curiosity and excitement, and with such strong endorsements, the team behind Jombieland is hopeful for a successful run at the box office.
