Rabb Da Radio 2 to mark Sharan Singh's directorial debut

Sharan Singh’s directorial debut: The sequel of super-hit movie ‘Rabb Da Radio’ will be directed by debutant director Sharan Singh.

Tarnvir Singh Jagpal and Harry Bhatti’s ‘Rabb Da Radio’, a critically and commercially acclaimed Punjabi movie which had released in 2017, has been added to the category of franchise movie for its sequel is all but planned.

Murmurs regarding the sequel of the movie had been doing the rounds for quite sometime. Vehli Janta Films locking the dates for their next two movies had all but confirmed them. However, now it is understood that the shoot of the movie has been commenced now.

Among the actors of the movie, the much-appreciated duo of Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal will be seen working together for the second time round. It is also learnt that Mandy Takhar will be seen playing an extended cameo in the second part.

While the first part was directed by the debutant duo of Jagpal and Bhatti, the second one will also be helmed by a debutant in Sharan Singh. Jas Grewal, who had written the script of the first movie, has written the script of the sequel as well.

Vehli Janta Films (Manpreet Johal), who had made their debut with the first part, are producing the movie. Having said that, they have been joined by Omjee Group (Munish Sahni) this time in the same field.
