Actor Raj Kundra, who is all set to make his Punjabi film debut with Mehar, recently shared a heartfelt reflection on his transformative experience while preparing for the role.
Speaking about wearing the turban for the first time, Raj said, "When I first stepped into the limelight in my first film, Mehar, it wasn't just the laughter of my character; it was a moment that touched my soul. The weight of that turban gave me a deep sense of responsibility and pride. From that day on, I decided to always keep my hair covered and live my life according to the beautiful principles of Sikhism. Today, I can proudly say that my connection with Punjab and its people is now not just from the heart, but also from the soul."
Raj Kundra's statement has resonated deeply with fans, especially in Punjab, where many are appreciating his respect for Sikh values and culture.
Mehar marks a significant milestone for Raj Kundra, not only as his cinematic debut in Punjabi cinema but also as a personal journey that has brought him closer to Punjab and its traditions. The film is expected to be released later this year and has already generated immense buzz for its emotional storyline and cultural authenticity.
