Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda remains in a fragile state, now completing his eighth day on ventilator support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. The medical team overseeing his care released a statement on Friday, expressing concern that his recovery is not progressing as they had hoped.
Jawanda is reportedly suffering from serious head and spinal trauma, which doctors believe has led to the disruption of multiple organ functions. His heart continues to be sustained with the help of artificial life support systems, and his condition remains extremely critical.
Fans and members of the Punjabi music fraternity are holding vigils and sharing messages of hope, as worry deepens over his health. Veteran singer and politician Hansraj Hans issued a heartfelt plea, urging the public to pray for Jawanda’s recovery. “Even if our own time is shortened, may he be blessed with life again,” he said emotionally.
Doctors continue to monitor the singer round the clock, but stress that the situation remains unpredictable. The outpouring of support from across the globe stands testament to Jawanda’s impact, with many still hoping for a turnaround in his condition.
